A Generous Heart, John Lopez, Jr.
John Lopez, who is sixteen years old, starting working in March at Walmart, in Princeton, Texas as a cashier to earn money for College. John said, ” My parents have taught me that if someone needs help, I should try to help them and make them feel better.” A Woman came through his line and after John total up her bill, it came to $110.00. The Woman started crying as she could not pay the bill. John said, ” I get you-I got you” and paid the bill for her! He said, ” I just felt in my heart that the Lord told me to help her.” During the holiday season John likes to volunteer at the Salvation Army as a bell ringer, bringing cheer to all who pass by him. He also donated a Christmas tree to his Church’s choir. I make it my goal to always make people smile! Keeping the giving spirit alive, the Princeton Community is now raising money for John online. They have created a ” Merry Christmas for John” GoFundMe page and so far it has raised, $2600.00. John feels so grateful and thankful and will put that money away for College. Thank you John, for your kind and loving heart. You are a True Hero and will always be remembered for your generous giving and volunteering in your Community!
